Surface finish

A complete product is not only made by CNC machined, but also it needs various surfaces finish to achieve corrosion resistance, wear resistance, aesthetics and improved service life. Deluxe Industry has many years of experience in CNC machining and offers a wide range of surface finish services. The existing surface treatment processes include: painting, powder coating, dusting, sand blasting, shot blasting, anodizing, thick film oxidation, micro-arc oxidation, electroplating, electrophoresis, laser engraving, silk screen printing, brush, mirror polishing, dyeing, blackening, CD pattern, etching, highlighting etc.

Anodizing

It is an electrolytic oxidation process that converts the surface of a material into a protective film, making it less susceptible to oxidative corrosion, extending life and achieving the appearance of various colors. Commonly used aodize treatments are divided into: general anodizing, bush anodize, hard anodize, thick film anodize, micro-arc anodize etc. The materials that can be oxidized are: aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, titanium alloy etc.

Plating

The basic process of plating is to immerse the part in a solution of metal salt as a cathode, and the metal plate as an anode, through the current, deposit the desired coating on the part. Suitable plating will make your product more fashionable and bring good market. Common plating are: copper plating, nickel plating, silver plating, gold plating, chrome plating, galvanizing, tin plating, vacuum plating etc.

Electrophoresis

With the continuous improvement of industrial requirements, electrophoresis can customize various colors, maintain metallic luster and enhance the corrosion resistance of the surface, and which has less influence on the precision of the product. The thickness of one side is about 10-25um.

Passivation

Passivation also known as chromate treatment, is a pickling process that removes surface grease, rust, oxides and chemical reactions. The color of the passivation film will vary with the material. Passivation will not increase the thickness of the product, and there is no need to worry about that it affects the accuracy of the product.

Blacken

Blacken's principle is to immerse the product in a strong oxidizing chemical solution to produce an oxide film on the metal surface to isolate the air and achieve the purpose of rust prevention. The process is applicable to steel materials.

QPQ

QPQ is the abbreviation of Quench-Polish-Quench, which refers to the ferrous metal parts placed in two different salt baths, and the composite layer is formed by infiltrating the metal surface through various elements to achieve the purpose of modifying the surface of the parts. It has good wear resistance, fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance and small deformation. This process is suitable for both steel materials.

Laser engraving

Laser engraving is also called laser marking, it is a surface treatment process using optical principles to form LOGO or patterns on the product. The laser engraving effect is permanent and has a high surface quality, which is suitable for various hardware and plastic materials.

Silk screen

Silk screen printing means that the ink is transferred to the product through the screen. The color of the ink can be customized according to the customer's needs. If you want the silk screen effect to last longer, you can also add a layer of UV after silk screen to extend its life. Silk screen printing is suitable for all kinds of metal and plastic materials, and can also be combined with surface treatment such as oxidation, painting, dusting, electroplating, electrophoresis.

Polishing

Polishing is to make the product beautiful, translucent and protect the surface. The polishing of hardware products is divided into manual polishing, mechanical polishing and electrolytic polishing. Electropolishing can be used to replace heavy mechanical polishing especially for more complex parts. Electropolishing is often used for steel, aluminum, copper and other parts.

Brush

Brush is a surface treatment method that uses a flat-pressing abrasive belt and a non-woven roller brush to form a line on the surface of the workpiece to provide a decorative effect. Brush process can reflect the texture of metal materials and is increasingly popular in modern life. It is widely used in mobile phones, computers, monitors, furniture, electrical appliances and other housings.

Powder coating & painting

Painting and Powder coating are two kinds of surface treatments that are common in the spraying of metal parts. They are the most commonly used surface treatments for precision parts. They can protect the surface from corrosion, rust, and aesthetics.

Sandblasting

Sandblasting is one of the commonly used surface treatments for hardware products. It improves cleanliness and roughness and increases the adhesion and durability between the product and the coating. Therefore, many surface treatments choose sandblasting as their pretreatment such as: sandblasting + anodize, sandblasting + electroplating, sandblasting + electrophoresis, sandblasting + powder coating, sandblasting + painting, sandblasting + passivation.

Teflon Coating

It is a very individual surface treatment and has excellent anti-stickiness, non-stickiness, high temperature resistance, low friction, high hardness, non-wetness and high chemical resistance.
